Cute as a Bug

If I couldn't make a card here and there this week I would be crying .... I try only to think of the wedding and everything being beautiful.... but not of Madison and Cory moving all the way to Memphis!!!.... this is a Vicki/Jeannie challenge...I chatted with her this morning and said lets make a card...neither of us could pick a cut...so I gave Madison the Home Decor pamphlet and said pick one.... I should have known she would pick the ladybug ... she loves them...and she said we had to add glitter... I don't do glitter often Madison says I should use it on every card.... so challenged Vicki and she was up to it... I took a nap first and dreamed about this card...so here it is!!...inside it says "Madison, when you were born you were cute as a bug... on Saturday you will be the most beautiful bride on earth." .... yes yes I am crying now!!.... I hope that you like it...and I know that you will love Vicki's, she does beautiful work... Thanks so much for looking... I cherish your comments more than you know!! ...Its like I tell my boss at work... "I work on a need to know basis...I need to know you think I am doing good!" Hugs, Jeannie

Ladybug cut @ 5 3/4 inches 5 times.
I cut it twice on regular cut in black... one I cut the dots out of so that I could add the glitter and pop-dot it from the black cut below... I ran the dots upside down through my Zyron to add the glitter ....I cut the ladybug once in red on shadow blackout...and once in white and grey on shadow.
I don't have design studio so on the white piece of paper I scored it just behind the legs from side to side and adhered it only above the score line so it would open.

Charm cut @ 2 inches in red.
I like this little charm I think I will use it more often!!...measured it and did my text on the computer in a box around the text 1/4 shorter on both horizontal and vertical sides... trimmed with scissors just outside the box... adhered to the charm.

My son, John-Robert is RA Camp (Baptist Church Camp for boys) Co-Director this year... he started out as a camper at age 8, then a counselor at age 15, now look at him at 21 almost 22 ...I am really proud... anyway he text-ed me and said he needed a card for a lady that made the counselors a Berry Cobbler in a Dutch Over... and he wanted me to make one...he said that he knew I was busy with the wedding and they could buy one but that "you do a better job than a real card"... so I made him one... I needed to center myself anyway and cards are the best in the world for that!!... I hope the guys like it and so does the sweet lady... thank you so much for looking... Turtle Friends, so fitting for another one of mine and Vicki's challenges... Vicki picked this cut... and I picked Friends after looking at the cut... I though "Those realistic turtles oh Vicki you have got to be kidding me!". but that is what makes it a challenge isn't it... then I found my paper...and knew the front facing turtle was sitting on the back of the side facing turtle and I got excited and went to work... I hope that you like it... it was such a fun card to do.

Disclaimer: My thief of a cat took my directions!!!... she always takes my craft supplies... I have no idea why!...but this time while my card was drying she took my directions ... so this is from memory...
